Looking for a Psychologist-Led Talk on Mental Health for your Group, Organization, or Community?
A professional down-to-earth approach to talking about mental health, resilience, stress reduction, trauma, strategies, resources, when to reach out for professional help, and more.
Are you a group or organization looking for a down-to-earth talk about mental health? Dr. Laura Friesen is a Registered Psychologist with licenses in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. She can provide services across Yukon, Alberta, Nunavut, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec.
The main groups Dr. Friesen works with include rural and remote communities and individuals, military, veteran, police, and other first responders. She also often works with health care providers, teachers, parents, and people of faith.
Most talks and presentations are provided virtually unless circumstances allow Laura to come to your location. The fee is dependent on the type of talk, length of service, and whether travel is involved.
Please reach out to Dr. Friesen to inquire about this service.
A team approach: Dr. Friesen may also offer co-speaker series with colleagues such as Dr. Terilyn Pott, R.Psych and Kirsten Timpany, R.Psych.
Important note: Attending a talk does not result in a professional relationship. To clarify, attendees are not considered clients of Dr. Laura Friesen. The talks are intended to reduce stigma and provide evidence-based resources and skills. Resources for professional services will be provided.
