Warrior’s Way is a professional telepsychology clinic located in Whitehorse, Yukon primarily serving clients in YT, AB, NWT, NU, QC, NS, and NB. With corporate headquarters currently in Edmonton Alberta, our director and psychologist in a secure virtual office in Yukon, and relationships across Canada, we work hard to meet varying needs. Telepsychology has been researched and found to be just as effective as in-person sessions.

  • Genuine human services in an online world: We keep it real. In a different province or territory than our clinic? Our psychologist only offers services to areas where her Alberta and Northwest Territories licenses allow her to work or where inter-provincial agreements exist. She works to understand how your life might look different in a different location.

  • In a rural area, on a military base, a member of an RCMP detachment? Want more privacy and culturally competent services? We are here for you. Our psychologist has some extra specialties in rural, veteran/military, and first responder cultures, among a few others. Reach out to learn more.

  • Meeting from a vehicle or on a trip? Make sure you are located in your therapist's jurisdictions, parked somewhere, have privacy, a good connection, and check that you won't end up with a big phone bill if you use data. Having security features on your devices is a good idea if you're not meeting at home with your own internet.

  • Meet your doctor in the comfort of your own space. Make sure that this is time for you and that you won't be too distracted by your surroundings. This may mean getting a babysitter, asking your partner for privacy, or moving pets to a different room if needed.

  • At home, in an office, in your truck? Just make sure it's safe to meet (e.g. parked somewhere). Make sure you have privacy, log into your own secure private waiting room, ensure your internet connection is strong, and you're set to start.

  • Clients are welcomed to bring a non-alcoholic beverage to their online session. While being in the comfort of your own home has many benefits, just make sure you are not attending sessions intoxicated as this may result in the session ending and being rescheduled with applicable cancellation fees. Remember, here at Warrior's Way, we want you to be comfortable but it is a professional clinic. Thank you!
